The genus Artemisia containing more than 500 taxa at the specific or subspecific level. Thirty-four species of genus Artemisia have been reported in Iran, which from the viewpoint distribution, density and coverage is the most important genera of plant. Since the still has not been achieved a general system for the classification and phylogeny, in this research tried with evaluation of chloroplast diversity and phylogenetic relationships of Artemisia species and comparison with other species in the world, identified evolutionary path, genetic similarity for some species of Iran, until through this maintained genetically valuable treasures. In this research, polymorphic were studied in non-coding regions of chloroplast DNA of 28 Iranian Artemisia species. At first, 13 primers public of chloroplast DNA were evaluated for proliferation, and according to the degree of proliferation primers, six primer pairs (PB, BD, Ic2, CS, trnL-F and B2B3) were selected for the final study. PCR products were digested by three restriction enzyme of MseI, EcoRI and TaqI. From 14 combinations primer - enzymes used, 10 combinations showed polymorphism status. Data showed a completely different banding pattern in A. Armeniaca, A. incana, A. austriaca, A. melanolepis, A. oloveriana, A. turanic and A. turnifortiana than other species.
