This research work was carried out at the Research Greenhouse of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. Foliar application of AsA (0, 100, 200 mg/l) was carried out on the plants that were under salt stresses of 0, 50, 100 and 150 mM of NaCl. A factorial experiment, based on a Completely Randomized Design with three replications was adopted and conducted in 2010. The salinity significantly affected the plant's physiochemical characteristics (electrolyte leakage, chlorophyll content, proline, total carbohydrates, antioxidant activity, phenolic compounds) throughout the experiment. The highest electrolyte leakage occurred under the highest level of NaCl (150 mM). Electrolyte leakage decreased by 52% through exogenous application of AsA (200 mg/l), and this occurred via a protection of plasma membrane against adverse effects of salinity. AsA increased the chlorophyll content, carbohydrate and phenolic compounds respectively by 65%, 60% and 38% in comparison with control. Thus, it seems that AsA is more effective in scavenging of free radicals under severe salt stress, by an induction of antioxidant activity to an extent 5-times higher, as compared with control, and so, helps enhancement of plant survival.}, keywords = {Antioxidant activity,electrolyte leakage,Free radicals,Salt.,Total carbohydrate}, title_fa = {تأثیر کاربرد برون‌زای آسکوربیک اسید بر برخی از تغییرات فیزیوشیمیایی مرزنجوش (Origanum majorana L.) تحت تنش شوری}, abstract_fa = {به منظور بررسی اثر آسکوربیک اسید (AsA) به عنوان یک آنتی‌اکسیدان مهم در کاهش خسارات شوری، آزمایشی در گلخانه تحقیقاتی دانشگاه فردوسی مشهد، روی گیاه مرزنجوش انجام گرفت. غلظت های متفاوتی از AsA (صفر، 100 و 200 میلی گرم بر لیتر) به صورت محلول پاشی روی گیاهانی که تحت شرایط صفر، 50، 100 و 150 میلی‌مولار نمک NaCl قرار داشتند، به کار برده شد. به این ترتیب آزمایش مورد نظر به صورت فاکتوریل بر پایه طرح کاملا تصادفی با 3 تکرار در سال 1390، صورت پذیرفت. شوری به صورت معنی‌داری بر تمامی صفات فیزیوشیمیایی (نشت الکترولیت، محتوای کلروفیل، پرولین، کربوهیدرات کل، فعالیت آنتی‌اکسیدانی و ترکیبات فنولیک) اندازه گیری شده در گیاه مرزنجوش تأثیر داشت. نشت الکترولیتی از سلول‌های برگی در غلظت بالای نمک (mM 150) به بیشترین مقدار خود رسید. اما کاربرد AsA (mg/l 200) ضمن محافظت غشا پلاسمایی از تأثیر منفی شوری، نشت الکترولیتی را در همین سطح از شوری، 52% کاهش داد. آسکوربیک اسید همچنین مقادیر کلروفیل کل، کربوهیدرات کل و ترکیبات فنولیک گیاه را در مجموع معادل 65، 60 و 38 درصد در مقایسه با شاهد افزایش داد. نتایج آزمایش نشان داد که آسکوربیک اسید می‌تواند ضمن افزایش فعالیت آنتی‌اکسیدانی گیاه به بیش از 5 برابر شاهد، به نحو مؤثرتری از فعالیت رادیکال‌های آزاد تحت شرایط تنش شدید شوری جلوگیری کرده و به این ترتیب بقای بیشتر گیاه را تضمین نماید.}, keywords_fa = {رادیکال‌های آزاد,فعالیت آنتی‌اکسیدانی,کربوهیدرات کل,نشت الکترولیتی,نمک.}, url = {https://ijhs.ut.ac.ir/article_22952.html}, eprint = {https://ijhs.ut.ac.ir/article_22952_781f53908922673040089f396ee7fcf6.pdf} }
